How to Cancel Crunchyroll on the Website
Go to crunchyroll.com and sign in. Click your profile icon in the top-right and select "Account". Go to "Premium" in the left sidebar. Click "Manage Subscription", then "Cancel Subscription". Crunchyroll will ask about your reason and may offer a discount. Confirm the cancellation. Your Premium access continues until the end of the billing period. The free tier (with ads and simulcast delay) remains available indefinitely.
Cancelling Crunchyroll Through Apple, Google, Roku, or Amazon
On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Crunchyroll → Cancel Subscription. On Android: Google Play → profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Crunchyroll → Cancel. On Roku: go to your Roku account at my.roku.com → Manage subscriptions → Crunchyroll → Cancel subscription. Through Amazon Channels: amazon.com → Account → Memberships & Subscriptions → Crunchyroll → Cancel Channel. If you're unsure which platform manages your billing, log in to crunchyroll.com and go to Account → Premium — it will say "Managed by" if a third party handles your billing.
Switching From Crunchyroll to Funimation or Other Services
Crunchyroll merged with Funimation in 2022, and Funimation content is now on Crunchyroll. If you're considering cancelling Crunchyroll to switch to another anime service, note that Funimation standalone subscriptions are being migrated to Crunchyroll and will eventually be discontinued. HiDive is the main alternative, offering a library of anime titles with less mainstream focus for $4.99/month. Netflix also has a growing anime catalogue included in standard subscriptions. Neither fully replicates Crunchyroll's simulcast breadth.
